3D Printed Protoype

This is V1 of my Trainer Style RC plane. It was designed using an existing RC plane as a model reference for the style and size. The dimensions, weight and wing area calculations were done using online and by-hand airplane design formulas. The plane boasts a 1400kV Brushless DC motor, 8x4" propeller, 40A ESC, 4x 9g servos, 1500mAh 3s LiPo Battery, 6 channel receiver and the Flysky FX-i6X. It was printed using standard PLA on the Bambu Lab A1.

CAD Model

This model consists of 8 subassemblies containing 55 individual components. The final V1 build assembly totals 130 components. There are 3 unique mechanical systems on the model; the front landing gear shock system, rear landing gear steering system, and the wing lock system. Each of these systems was designed and prototyped individually and added to the main assembly in post.
